Dark dahlias, fuchsia garden roses and white anemones are destined to do great things together. With just the right amount of ferns and incidental greens, they can create the perfect late summer to fall bridal bouquet.
When Amy at Dainty Meadows Photography reached out to us and see if we wanted to create such bouquet for a styled shoot she had planned, we jumped eagerly at the idea. This time of the year guaranteed amazing results- from the shaded lighting and cooler color transitions to the breezy winds and hair-swept moments. Almost like the fairy that she was meant to be, our bride blended in effortlessly with the forest surroundings.
The first look: She's confident and unwavering.
As if the contrast of her airy white dress wasn't enough to shine through, all of the colors involved create a bold and charming atmosphere. The foliage bring out just enough to accent the flowers but not too much as to overpower it. The dark red and pink blooms compliments her perfectly from the tinted lips to her radiant skin. Often times people stray from the rich colors, afraid that it might be too shadowy. Come fall and they have their moment, but really, how gorgeous is this no matter the season?
Golden hour at its peak, she pays no mind to the time, only to what's in front of her.
Choosing flowers can be a daze indeed because of the endless choices. For this shoot we wanted to focus on the different types of shades we can create and the bold contrast of light and dark. The fuchsia roses provided just enough pop, and the dusty miller is a reminder of the cooler months to follow. The bouquet was finished off with a grey ribbon, tying everything altogether.
Thank you to Amy at Dainty Meadows for another successful shoot and the
beautiful model Misturat for showcasing our bridal bouquet!
